I am from Pakistan, my 3 years old child is suffering from primary immunodeficiency disorder. He was diagnosed with immunodeficiency but unfortunately there is no treatment available in Pakistan. From the birth of my child I am constantly visiting hospitals for his treatments and every month he is admitted for antibiotic injections. He is admitted in general ward with other patients of different diseases which is very painful for me because my child’s immune system is not working and he can get these infections. Sometimes in his worse condition, doctors inject immunoglobulin vaccine (pentaglobin) which is very expensive for me. And you know it only works for 20 days which is not affordable for me and due to his condition, he gets ill very frequently as in Pakistan there are many viral diseases. The use of antibiotics can damage his organs. I feel myself helpless and depressed in these circumstances.
